Misty back with sounds to have you dancing the night away

The vibrant sounds of popular Sri Lankan dance band Misty will have Brisbane dance-goers moving to the rhythm at the Souths Sports Club, Acacia Ridge, on Saturday, May 21.

The Sounds of Misty dinner-dance, organised by the Sri Lanka Sports Association of Queensland, will herald a return to the much-anticipated annual event after a hiatus of nearly three years. The venue can hold 250 guests, so the SLSAQ is advising members and well-wishers to secure their tickets early.

Cost is $75 members and $80 non-members. A buffet dinner is included. See the contact list below to purchase your tickets.

With a wide range of music genres, Misty has established itself as the premier dinner band in Sri Lanka over more than two decades of entertaining fans. The band has been a frequent visitor to Australia, performing regularly in venues in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.

Souths Sports Club has strict Covid-19 restrictions, with guests required to be fully vaccinated. The QR code will have to be scanned at the door and proof of vaccination must be shown. Contact an SLSAQ committee member for any other information.
