SLSAQ’s AGM on November 29 to elect new office-bearers

The 11th annual general meeting of the Sri Lanka Sports Association will be held on Sunday, November 29, from 6pm at the Mansfield Tavern, Wecker Road Mansfield.
The AGM will include the president’s report and election of a new committee.
The SLSAQ invites nominations for the position of President, one Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Assistant Secretary, Assistant Treasurer, and eight Ordinary Members for the committee.
Eligibility
Committee:
All financial members of SLSAQ may nominate one person only, for the above positions, which include the financial member.
If the nominating individual, is a member of a financial member’s immediate family, the individual, must be a person acting under the authority of a power of attorney given by the financial member of SLSAQ.
“Immediate family” of a financial member mean the following:
(a) The individual’s spouse.
(b) Each of the children of the individual or the individual’s spouse, who is 18 years or more,
including a step-child or an adopted child.
(c) Each of the individual’s parents, including a step-parent.

• Presentation of accounts for the year 2019 to 2020 by Treasurer Kingsley Mannickam.
